I am now running live online Pilates classes, for those who want to join from the convenience of their own home, in the UK or abroad, or prefer to view on catch up at a time more suitable to you.

Pilates matwork online
So long as I can see you on screen, then I use my professional eye as a physiotherapist as well as a Pilates Instructor to observe how you are moving and will cue how to move most effectively, or chat afterwards as a 1:1 private conversation. This enables the most improvement for an individual working with an online setting.
Equipment for the online classes
Over the last couple of years I have introduced the use of small Pilates equipment to make the classes more interesting for online clients. However, all classes can be done without the equipment if you do not own it. I can advise on equipment if you are wanting to purchase any.
The equipment I have introduced is:
- Pole (a broom handle or walking stick also works)
- Small Pilates ball (a squashed up sofa cushion works for some of the exercises)
- Exercise band - a long piece with a loop tied in one end (a pair of tights works as an interim)
- Loop bands - these are small exercise bands of different strengths
- Balance pads - two sofa cushions can be used, but nothing beats the real thing.
- Small weights - 0.5kg to 1.5kg max is my suggestion
I am recording my classes as I am giving them. This means that I can offer them on catch up to people who are unable to make the classes when they are running 'live'.
