I qualified as a Physiotherapist with a First Class Honours degree in 2009, starting my career in the NHS, working and gaining experience in a variety of settings, before specialising as a musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist in 2013. I spent six fantastic years working for the Fire Fighters' Charity as an MSK rehabilitation physiotherapist rehabilitating our nation's firefighters, before moving to working solely for myself at my clinic in Motherby.
I offer MSK physiotherapy sessions for spinal, joint of muscle injury or illness rehabilitation advice, specialist scar work, myofascial release and 1:1 Pilates.
Since qualifying as an Pilates Instructor in 2013 with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, I have taught classes locally. I have specialist Pilates qualifications in ante-natal and post natal Pilates, Pilates for people with hypermobility, Pilates for runners and Pilates for cyclists.
I myself am into anything outdoors and spend much of my free time out and about in the lakes and the fells with my friends and family. My passions are fell walking, lake swimming, biking, running and paddle boarding. This means that I totally understand how important the need is to be active and to regain ability following injury or illness.
